Skum’s Tommy Craig rocked the house joining friend Pat Travers to a standing room only crowd at the Port Salerno Seafood Festival in beautiful, downtown Port Salerno, Florida last Saturday night.

Travers headlined the festival closing out the show at the Twisted Tuna with a blistering 90 minute set that included all the hits and a few new songs he is about to release. The show, in terms of Travers show, was an epic display of raw unabashed musical power as the three piece line up brought a sense of urgency to the stage. Many are calling this one of Travers’ best live performances of the past 20 years.

Skum lead singer Hart Baur was in attendance as were several other celebrities, most notable John Oates and  former Dolphin greats AJ Duhe and Glenn Blackwood, Erika Eleniak of Baywatch fame as well former child tennis star Kathy Rinaldi.

“Tommy Craig is the best drummer in the country in my opinion,” said Hart. “I was glad to get out and see him and also great to see Pat (Travers) again.  It had been a  while. Looking forward to our upcoming collaboration on ‘Bad Checks’.”

Rock concert mainstay and icon Bobby Newscastle, who was backstage also added, “everyone knows what I think of Pat (Travers) and especially Tommy Craig. I was always on team Tommy since his Wicked Teaze days out on the Strip. They put together a great set, one of Pat’ best by far.”

After the show the backstage moved to a private two million dollar yacht docked behind the Twisted Tuns where Travers, Newcastle, and others with backstage passes were allowed.

Tommy and Hart dined at the Twisted Tuna where they discussed the TV Show as well as the finishing of the album over a 4 course meal of freshly made crawfish dip, pan seared tuna with a cream caper sauce (‘simply excellent’ added Tommy..), several Sushi entrees including a Fire Dragon Roll with freshly cut jalapeño made especially for the two and for the main course fresh Maine Lobster in a butter dill sauce.

“Pleased with the show,” added Tommy. “The yacht was a great touch for the backstage are and the private dinner was productive.”
